NEW
KATHERINE THOMPSON
Her instructional style is partly based on Seth Rigg's speech level singing. Depending on the individual, through the course of study she covers: breathing, posture, anatomy, pitch placement, establishing warm-up routines, establshing work out routines, performance, lyric interpretation, how the larynx works, improved memory, controlling vibrato, covering the break, connecting the registers, volume and resonance, facial expression, repertoire development, stage presence & etiquette, Tongue Gym (her own creation for better diction), scales, arpeggios, large interval leaps, phrasing, and achieving interesting vocal tonal colour.
She maintains that everyone is very unique and since singing jazz is largely about attitude, she'll always work towards bringing out your unique vocal qualities that help you stand out from the rest.
